A car was stopped in Stoke this afternoonTwo men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after police stopped a car in a residential street in Coventry.
Officers stopped the vehicle in Bramble Street, Stoke, at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 13.
The driver - a 23-year-old man - was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and his 21-year-old passenger was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs.
A member of the public told CoventryLive police had surrounded the car.
A police van and an unmarked dogs vehicle could be seen in the street in the Stoke area of Coventry.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Police stopped a vehicle in Bramble Street, Coventry, around 2.30pm today (Wednesday 13 February) after it failed to stop for officers last week.
"A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and a second man, aged 21, on suspicion of possessing drugs.
"They are currently in police custody for questioning."
