The two incidents happened within two hours of each otherPolice have revealed they are investigating a second shot being fired in Coventry in one night.
A shot was fired towards a man in Blenheim Avenue, Holbrooks, at just before 9.30pm on Monday, February 4, but fortunately he was not injured.
The investigation is now ongoing and follows the news of a gun being fired through a door in Earlsdon at around 8pm on the same night.
The gun was fired at a home on Bristol Road and again no-one was injured.
