Shot fired on Earlsdon street this morning...

Investigations are continuing

A shot was fired through a door in Earlsdon last night, police have confirmed.

A gun was fired at a home on Bristol Road at around 8pm.

Thankfully, no-one was injured but police are treating the incident seriously.

Investigations into the shooting are continuing this morning.

CoventryLive was alerted to the incident last night by concerned residents.

A West Midlands Police spokesman confirmed this morning that a firearm had been used in the residential area.

They added: "Police are investigating after a shot was fired through the front door of a house on Bristol Road in the Earlsdon area of Coventry just after 8pm last night (Monday 4 February).

"There were no reported injuries and enquiries continue."

Police were out speaking to neighbours in the street last night as investigations began.
