These horrific-looking weapons were discovered by cops as they searched a home in Coventry.

Officers had arrested two men on suspicion of drug offences in the early hours of Thursday, January 31, in Thistley Field South, Coundon.

As the investigation progressed, they then went on to search two addresses in the city and at the first they found class A and B drugs, a huge wad of £10 notes, weighing scales, bags and a fluffy lion.

When officers went to the second property they found the huge, menacing machete, the baseball bat and the knife, as well as more drugs.

Details of the arrests and finds were posted on Twitter by West Midlands Police's force support unit, which described the weapons are "extremely worrying".
