CCTV of man police want to speak to after knifepoint carjacking

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a knifepoint carjacking in Coventry.

Officers were called after an Alfa Romeo was stolen from Kingfield Road, Foleshill, at around 2am on Saturday, November 3.

Two men had approached the vehicle while the driver was threatened with a knife as he and his passenger were forced to get out.

The car was driven off but was quickly traced to Threadneedle Street, Foleshill.

A 22-year-old man was arrested and later charged with robbery and possessing a knife.

He is due to stand trial in February 2019.

A second suspect is still to be identified.
