Cathedral doors smashed by vandals

An attack on Coventry Cathedral is being investigated by police after vandals smashed glass doors.

Panels of glass at two entrances to the cathedral were smashed during the attack.

Officers believe it took place some time between 21:30 on Sunday and 07:00 on Monday.

Police are calling for any witnesses to come forward.

I am not religious, but find this absolutely outrageous. Can you imagine the furor of it had been a mosque defiled in this way?
