"Shots fired through pub window while punters sat inside"

Shots were fired at a Bedworth pub last night as punters enjoyed a drink inside.
Police were called to The Old Royal Oak pub on Nuneaton Road at around 9.15pm last night after shots were fired towards the pub, shattering a window.
Luckily everyone inside the pub - which was open at the time - avoided injury.
Warwickshire Police believe it to be an isolated incident but have posted extra officers in the area today to reassure locals.
But police have urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident, inside the pub or out, to get in touch.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they were not called to the incident.
