Police bid to find man wanted over street attack

Police are investigating an assault



Police have released the photo of a man wanted in connection with a street attack in Coventry.

Warren Giles' image has been released by West Midlands Police as they try to trace the 37-year-old.

They want to speak to him about an allegation of wounding following an assault in Cannon Hill Road at 10am on July 20.

Anyone who has seen Giles or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference 20CV/164151X/18.

Earlier this month, West Midlands Police also released the images of two other men they are trying to find.

Stephen Kovacs is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Allesley on the morning of February 24.



Anyone with information on Kovacs' whereabouts is asked to call the Public Protection Team in Coventry on 101, ext 831 3226, quoting crime reference number 20CV/44318P/18.

The second man is James Bourne, 22, who police say is wanted in connection with an assault in Coventry.
