Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw the getaway car
Masked robbers threatened staff at a Nuneaton shop before making off with cash and cigarettes.
They struck at the One Stop in Weddington Road last night (Sunday, November 4).
Staff were locking up when three men with their faces covered threatened them before leaving with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
Detective Inspector Lisa Sears from Nuneaton CID said they believe a getaway car could have been waiting in the Cleaver Gardens area and want to hear from anyone with any information.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or saw anyone acting suspicious, to contact Warwickshire Police," DI Sears said.
"Given the amount of cigarettes stolen it is likely they fled in a vehicle and we believe this may have been parked in Cleaver Gardens, just up the road from the One Stop. We're keen to speak to anyone living in this road who saw or heard anything suspicious."
