Emergency services were called to the scene just after 8am this morningA schoolboy has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car outside a Coventry school.
The collision happened at around 8am this morning close to the entrance for Bablake Junior School in Coundon Road.
Paramedics arrived to the scene shortly after and treated the boy on the roadside for their injuries before taking the youngster to hospital.
Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Witnesses said they had seen multiple police cars at the scene close to Chester Road.
West Midlands Police is appealing for witnesses to the collision.
