Man admits hitting cop with his car in Nuneaton

The man from Birmingham struck a police officer with his car before driving off

A driver has admitted striking a police officer in Nuneaton.

Jack Clark, 22, struck the constable with his car on July 30 in Manor Court Road, Nuneaton, causing an injury to his hand.

Appearing at Warwickshire Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 15, Clark, of Ombersley Road, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to assaulting a constable in the execution of duty.

He also pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence.

He was fined £150, ordered to do 60 hours unpaid work, given a rehabilitation order, and disqualified from driving for 6 months.

He had no licence, so the disqualification is rather pointless. All things considered, he got off very lightly.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
