F/B was awash with this story as it unfolded. I think the version we're being fed now is heavily edited for political purposes.

Police have charged two men with conspiracy to murder following an incident over a year ago.

Two men suffered neck injuries in the aftermath of a crash involving a number of vehicles on the A445 Leamington Road, in Ryton, at around 8.40am on October 16, 2018.

Two of the vehicles involved - including a white Audi - left the scene and were then involved in two further collisions on the A423 and at the roundabout where the two roads meet, near to the Sports Connexion.

Armed police and paramedics were called to the scene, while officers were also seen in nearby Bubbenhall.

Warwickshire Police confirmed afterwards that “bladed objects” had been used in the incident.

Police have now charged two men with conspiracy to murder.

They are: Michael Mongan, 25, of Cricketfield Road, West Drayton, London, and Gerry McDonagh, 25, of Burnhill Close, London.

They were charged on Wednesday (November 13) and appeared at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on the same day.

They were bailed to appear at Warwick Crown Court on December 9.

Police previously charged John Kiely, 40, of Darlingscote Road, Shipston-on-Stour, with conspiracy to commit murder.
