Two people fled the car after it finally stopped
A suspected stolen car rammed a police car during a chase in Coventry.
The silver Vauxhall Astra was pursued after failing to stop for officers in Bell Green shortly after midnight on Friday, October 5, and eventually came to a stop in Wood End.
Two men then ran away from the scene and across a nearby common. They are still at large.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "A car, suspected to have been stolen, failed to stop for officers in Bell Green Road at 12.05am and rammed a police car.
"The car subsequently pulled over and parked in Woodway Walk, Wood End, and two men got out and ran away onto the common.
"Nobody was injured and the car was recovered and enquiries continue to trace the occupants."
