Coventry pensioner seriously injured after being attacked during break-in

A Coventry woman in her 80s was seriously injured after being dragged down her hallway during a violent break-in
Coventry Police has released CCTV images of a man who may hold information about the terrifying attack.
The incident occurred on Cannon Hill Road, Canley, on Saturday, September 22.
Coventry Police said: “Do you recognise this man? He may know about a robbery on a woman in her home.
“Two men walked through a gate at the side of the house between 11.10am and 12.20pm and broke in through a rear window.
“They ransacked the house before attacking the woman who is in her 80s.
“A bangle was taken from the woman and she was dragged down the hallway.
“She suffered serious and painful injuries to her wrist as a result.
“The two men then drove off in a dark coloured VW Golf towards Kenilworth Road.
