It happened after a violent disorder broke out in Canley last night
A teenager is in a serious condition in hospital after being tasered by police in Coventry.
It happened during an incident in which two police officers were also injured as violence flared in Canley.
A number of emergency vehicles were sent to Prior Deram Walk shortly after 9.30pm on Saturday, September 1.
They were called to reports of a violent disorder.
A 17-year-old was tasered by police, but immediately required life saving treatment after going into cardiac arrest.
Four other teenagers - one as young as 13 - were arrested.
Two police officers were also injured during the incident which saw a police car windscreen smashed.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
