I have very mixed views on this Jock. Whilst I believe that tax dodging is wrong, many of these have been convicted of nothing and if they leave their affairs in the hands of 'specialists' they may not even know they are doing anything suspect.
I've always said that if it wanted, HMRC could prevent most of the 'tax loss' by re-writing the rules. The fact that it won't do that leads me to believe it is selective and political over who it chooses to persecute.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
