Choc ‘N’ Roll in Coventry has been declared the best bakery in the West Midlands by TripAdvisor.

The family-run business - founded by chocolatier Tony Davies - has a 5 star rating after 65 reviews.

Recent reviews have praised the brownies (“oh my, they are amazing”), with one reviewer saying that the shop “really is a chocoholic’s paradise.”

Tony, aged 50, opened the doors to his new unit at FarGo Village two years ago.

The 48-year-old dedicates seven days a week to handmaking more than 14 flavours of chocolates, as well as baking goods like pain-au-chocolat, brownies and macarons.

All of his products are made using Belgian chocolate.

The talented chef from Leamington Spa started his career working at the Dorcester Hotel under world-renowned chef Anton Mosimann.

Since then he has worked around the world, before making the move into teaching catering.
