Two 16-year-old boys were arrested after a gun was pointed at takeaway staff in CoventryAt 3pm on Wednesday, July 18, officers received reports of two male youths causing trouble in a fast-food outlet in Far Gosford Street.
It was reported a “handgun" was pointed at staff.
Officers arrived at the Far Gosford street takeaway minutes later where two 16-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
No gun was recovered but it’s suspected an imitation firearm had been used.
The boys were later released with no further action.
