Appeal to trace "Unique" man after karaoke bottling incident

Student was injured at city centre karaoke bar



Police are searching for a man only known by his username on a Chinese social media app, after a student was injured in a bottling incident last year.

A 21-year-old student was injured when they were struck by a bottle thrown in a karaoke booth in Coventry city centre in December.

West Midlands Police have released a picture of the suspect, a man who goes by the name "Unique" on Chinese social media app WeChat.

The incident took place on December 2 at the Hanna Moon restaurant on Hales Street.

Police have described the suspect as "a Chinese man in his early 20’s, around 5ft 5ins tall and slim."

Anyone who recognises the man, or has any information is being urged to call either West Midlands Police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting crime reference 20CV/267040L/17.

I've had trouble from the vermin that frequent that place myself (not chinese though), it should be shut down.
