A man’s body has been found in Nuneaton town centre.

Warwickshire Police has confirmed that they received reports that a body was found close to Cash Converters in Queen’s Road this morning (Saturday, May 26).

Reports suggest that emergency services were at the scene at around 5am this morning (Saturday, May 26) and it is only in the past few hours that part of the pavement has been taped off.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police Force explained that they are not treating the death as suspicious.

“At 4.54am on Saturday 26 May we received a report that the body of a 24 year old man had been discovered in Queen’s Road, Nuneaton. The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Next of kin are being informed. Further enquiries should go to the Warwickshire coroner.”
