Another accident has taken place at a notorious Nuneaton junction - the second in just THREE days.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service called for back-up from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) following the two vehicle collision at the junction of Coventry Road and Donnithorne Avenue pn Thursday, May 24.

A spokesman for WMAS explained that they received a request from the fire service at 4.08pm and an ambulance was sent to the scene.

There had been a collision between two vehicles.

One of the drivers, a man aged in his 30s, is believed to have suffered medical episode prior to the collision.

He was treated at the scene and discharged.

The accident has caused even more traffic chaos in the traditionally busy rush-hour.

It was only three days ago when there was a collision between a bus and a van at the very same junction.

Anyone with any information about this afternoon’s collision should contact police on 101 or the Crimestoppers hotline, which is free to call from a landline and confidential, on 0800 555 111.
