A burglar who broke in to three homes and stole a number of high-value items, including a KITCHEN SINK, has been jailed
William Joseph Nash raided two neighbouring properties in Earlsdon and nicked a total of one oven, two cooker hobs, two extractor fans and the sink.
Another of Nash's "pre-planned" thefts happened at another home in Earlsdon and saw the 48-year-old steal another cooker hob, fridge and extractor fan.
Nash, of Westminster Road, Spon End, pleaded guilty to the offences when he appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court, as well as one count of stealing a set of double aluminium ladders worth £120 and producing nine cannabis plants.
He was sent to prison for 36 weeks with magistrates citing his "lengthy record" and he was also made to pay a total of £1,510 compensation.
He can hardly be called an "Earlsdon thief" if he lived in Spon End!
