Nuneaton policeman's nose broken in attack
Posted: Mon Jun 21, 2010 1:09 pmA police officer suffered damage to his teeth and a suspected broken nose during an attack in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
The officer was called to Kenilworth Drive during the early hours after reports of a man smashing windows.
He was assaulted by a man who then ran off. The officer has been taken to hospital where he remains for observation.
A 34-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer.
