I notice that Larry Grayson isn't mentioned amongst the famous people from Nuneaton whereas I think he was the most famous Nunetonian. During my coal mining days I met Larry twice. In spite of him saying to me "You look a nice boy" I thought him to be a warm and friendly man.
As for shops closing. I am like many others who find Amazon Marketplace is cheaper and more convenient than going into town.
I don't understand the failure of Carpet Right though, I wouldn't buy a carpet on line, carpet wouldn't go through my letter box.
I got stung once on Amazon. I bought a guitar peddle that never arrived, Amazon was very reluctant to refund my money as the seller was just using Amazon to trick people out of money.
