Man charged with drug and driving offences after crash injured two women

A man is due in court charged with a number of offences after a collision left two women in hospital.

A three car collision took place at the junction of Hinckley Road and Ansty Road just after 7am on Tuesday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said two women were taken to hospital, one with a suspected broken collar bone, and the other with a head injury and neck pain.

Nathan O’Doherty, 27, from Compton Road, Holbrooks, has been charged with failing to stop after a road accident, possession of class B drugs, failure to provide a specimen for analysis, using a motor vehicle without insurance and driving without a licence.

He was set to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court this morning.
