A family have been left upset after they were told they must remove objects from their baby’s grave.

Zara Glover gave birth to stillborn Kiesza-Rose earlier this year and, when they buried her, they added several small items to the grave.

Zara, 29, had suffered complications through her pregnancy, and gave birth at 26 weeks on June 12.

Later that month on June 30, Zara buried her daughter at Fillongley Cemetery with her family by her side, including mum Colette.

Colette told the Telegraph that the parish council are now asked them to remove items from the grave.

She said: “Zara gave birth on June 12 to a stillborn after a lot of complications during the pregnancy.

“It was when she had a gender scan that they first found the complications.

“It was traumatic as a family, especially for Zara as it was her first child.

“On June 30, we buried her in Fillongley.

“The parish council said we had to remove a little fairy house and a rose tree.

“It was all new to us.

“We had a meeting about it, and even after that, they told us to remove more than the original stuff and take off the lights on there too.”

Colette also told us her daughter Zara has been left upset by the ordeal.

She said things aren’t helped when her partner goes away with the army.

Colette added: “Zara is very upset and especially with it being her first child.

“I am her rock while her partner is away in the army.”
