I've yet to see a government measure intended to 'save' money that didn't eventually cost the taxpayer a lot more.

Nothing suprises me now.

One benefit to not having to display a tax disc saving the tax payer is spiteful jealous people cant tell if the car belongs to some one disabled which prevents the car being smashed or damaged which was happening frequently here.
