Poor from them... The drivers were criticised for their parking skills
PARAMEDICS have publicly shamed two dozy drivers after they left their car blocking the turning circle to a busy A&E department.
The "inconsiderate motorists" dumped their vehicle outside the entrance to the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton just 10pm on September 3.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service took to social media to publically blast the dodgy parking.
The post, which has had more than 100 comments nearly 50 shares, read: "Not really sure how much clearer the sign can make it!
"Frustration for crews at George Elliot Hospital tonight (September 3) as they are unable to complete their turning circle due to inconsiderate parking of others. The signs are there for a reason!"
Emergency crews are now urging motorists to park responsibly, to think of others and to make sure they do not block ambulances, which are trying to provide life-saving care.
A disgruntled motorist, who did not wish to be named, told the News: "Me and my wife were coming out of the hospital car park that evening and couldn't believe the stupidity of these individuals. It's inconsiderate and has clearly caused disruption to our emergency services, who play a role in caring for a large amount of people.
"I understand that some people will rush to hospital with friends or loved ones to seek medical care, but they should park responsibly."
Even health chiefs at the George Eliot Hospital have called on motorists to consider where they park.
Laura Gibson, associate director of operations at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust said: "We appreciate that bringing loved ones to Accident and Emergency can be a stressful time but we ask visitors to only park in the main car parks – including the maternity car park or the temporary drop off area. All are clearly signed. This is to ensure the safety of themselves, other visitors, patients, ambulance and hospital staff."
Do what they do to illegally parked cars in Northern Ireland, blow them up!
