Arson... crews from Bedworth were called out to the same field twice
ARSONISTS targeted farm land TWICE in less than a day, forcing Bedworth firefighters to put out the blaze.
Officers from the town's station have been called out to the same field off Top Road in Barnacle twice this weekend.
Both blazes, which needed tackling with beaters and drag forks, are being treated as arson.
Nuneaton's crew have were also called out to a suspicious blaze at just after 8.30pm last night (Saturday, August 26).
A straw baler was on fire in Astley Lane and firefighters had to use a thermal image camera, lighting and a hose reel to deal with the fire.
Deliberate small fires are proving to be the bane of the borough's firefights at the moment and there is an ongoing campaign to 'stop arson' attacks.
