Vandals trash flower beds in Bedworth

Police officers are working their way through CCTV footage



Vandals have ripped up some of Bedworth's beautiful flower beds, leaving plants and clods of earth strewn across the path.

The incident happened in Mill Street yesterday.

Police are now scanning CCTV footage to try and indentify the culprits, reports the Nuneaton News.

Bedworth Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) officers have launched an investigation and have warned that, when caught, the culprits will be made to pay.

They have said that they are working their way through CCTV footage taken on cameras across the town in a bid to identify those responsible.

The team posted on Twitter: “We are currently looking into this, if you know the culprits get in touch. Safe to say; a few people are going to be skint this summer.”
