Nuneaton murder investigation arrests total five as image of victim released

Five people have been arrested in connection with the suspected murder of a Nuneaton woman.
Police issued an update as they released an image of Dionne Clark who was found dead in a house on Cornish Close, off Ansley Common, in Nuneaton, on Saturday night. Paramedics were called, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The force is appealing for information about the death of the 27-year-old and are, at this stage, treating the death as unexplained.
Police are carrying out enquiries to establish exactly what occurred after an initial post-mortem was inconclusive.
Further tests are being carried out to establish a cause of death .
Officers are also keen to trace Ms Clark’s missing phone - a Samsung Galaxy - which may have been discarded near to the rocks at Manor Court School.
Warwickshire Police said a total of five people had been arrested, but one has since been released. Four others remain in police custody.
A statement from Warwickshire Police read: “A 19-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from Nuneaton, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and perverting the course of justice in connection with death. They currently remain in police custody.
“A 33-year-old woman from Nuneaton arrested on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation.
“Following further enquires; a 54-year-old man and 58-year-old woman from Nuneaton have also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and remain in police custody.”
Det Insp Anna Middleton of the Major Investigations Unit, said: “We are also appealing to anyone who may have found the deceased phone, a Samsung Galaxy, which may have been discarded near to the rocks at Manor Court School.
“If anyone has any information that could help police with their enquiries they should call 101 and quote incident 492 of 17 June 2017. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org .”
