Armed robber brandishing knife demands cash from Kenilworth corner shop

An armed robber demanded cash from a shop worker while brandishing a knife in Kenilworth on Friday.

Police officers are looking for information following the robbery on Friday night.

At around 10.50pm, a person, believed to be a man entered the One Stop shop in Albion Street.

They had most of their face covered and had a knife with them as they demanded money from staff.

The robber then left the shop with cash and is believed to have left on foot towards Kenilworth town centre.

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident.

If anyone saw what happened, saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area that night or has any other information that could help police with their enquiries they should call 101 and quote incident 438 of May 5, 2017.
