Timetables have been changed to make better bus routes and improved punctuality for bus users in Nuneaton and Hinckley
They came into force yesterday and have led to the 158 Arriva service increased to every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes.
Evening journeys that currently terminate in Hinckley are now being extended through to Nuneaton, and the town will also benefit from a Sunday service.
Simon Mathieson, Arriva's area managing director explained changes were also being made to provide more effective and attractive services to as many customers as possible
"We've reviewed our services across Leicestershire and into Warwickshire, and worked to offer an improved service that also reflect the effects of increased congestion around Leicester city centre," he said.
"We're delighted to be making these improvements to our service. The 158 is operated by state of the art micro-hybrid buses with low emission engines, e-leather seating and free on-board Wi-Fi."
