A Coventry man was sent to prison after admitting that he attacked SEVEN police officers.
Lance Mullis assaulted four officers on March 4 and then three more the following day, while also causing £100 worth of a damage to a cell at Coventry police station.
Mullis, 32, of Bulwer Road, Radford, pleaded guilty to the crimes - as well as a charge of breaching a community order by failing to maintain contact with probation - and was sentenced to 20 weeks behind bars at Coventry Magistrates’ Court.
Magistrates said that the offence was so serious as the assaults were against officers on duty and was aggravated by his “previous record of offending”.
