The Coventry establishment opens following an extensive refurbishment, creating three new jobs for the local area.

Located on Sewall Highway, the refurbished Devonshire Arms Sizzling Pub and Grill opened to guests by hosting an exclusive VIP party on Wednesday, 1 March.

Locals and community members were in attendance, with guests invited to explore the pub’s new surroundings and try out the menu as the pub opened its doors for the first time after the two-week refit.

The pub now sports a brand new look and feel so guests can enjoy the Devonshire Arms’ expansive menu in comfortable surroundings.

The pub will continue to sell its celebrated sizzling skillets with 21-day aged prime steaks, which can now be topped with one of four tasty steak toppers.

Speaking about the new Devonshire Arms Sizzling Pub and Grill, general manager, Amanda Alcock, comments: “Bringing the new look Sizzling Pub & Grill to Coventry is really exciting for the whole team.

"At Sizzling Pub & Grill, we want to offer good value for all our guests and we’re thrilled to be providing Coventry with a new pub with great tasting food.

“The pub has been given a fantastic new look showcasing some great products, especially with its extensive menu which lets guests experience pub favourites from the UK and around the world.

“The VIP night was a great success, everyone who attended had a fantastic time and it was so good to be able to show off to the people of Coventry what their new local has to offer.

“We’re so thrilled to be able to give back to our loyal regulars, providing them with a fantastic pub where they can always enjoy a warm welcome and great atmosphere.”

Following the refurbishment, the Devonshire Arms will continue to look to support the local community with a calendar of fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

I grew up round that way and the Devon used to be a decent pub. Sadly, I can't see this working, even though it's about the only pub left round there.

Yes, (not been in there for ages) but it is a long walk. The Pippin (or whatever it's called now) is slightly closer, but again it's a fair old walk. The Devon has quite a large catchment area and IIRC the city players used to congregate there at one time. It was almost always my first port of call when going out with my mates.
