Cases heard by Coventry magistrates on February 2 and 3
A car collided with a bollard at a petrol station while the driver was under the influence of a cocktail of drink and drugs.
Rory Allen was found to have cocaine in his system, as well as being twice the drink-drive limit, when the crash happened at the BP station in Jubilee Crescent, Radford.
The 22-year-old was driving a Renault Twingo when the incident took place on November 20 last year.
Allen, 22, of Parkville Highway, Holbrooks, appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court where he admitted drink-driving, drug-driving and driving without a licence or insurance.
He was banned from driving for two years, given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for a year and ordered to pay £135 court costs and a £115 victim surcharge.
