Case heard by Coventry magistrates on January 17A Coventry man has been jailed for six months for assaulting two police officers and even biting one on the leg.
Connor Granaghan, 24, of The Coppice, Stoke Aldermoor, was found guilty of the assaults at Coventry Magistrates’ Court and sentenced to 24 weeks in prison.
He had an extra two weeks added to his prison sentence as the crimes were committed while he was subject to a community order for obstructing an officer in the execution of their duty and threatening to burn down a property.
Granaghan was also ordered to pay £100 compensation to each of his victims.
