A man who damaged a pay phone in Coventry during a drunken rampage has appeared in court.
Shaun Hardie, 32, caused a total of £177 worth of damage to a telephone kiosk handset in Nuffield Road, Courthouse Green, on October 22 last year.
Hardie, of Randle Street, Radford, pleaded guilty to causing the damage at Coventry Magistrates’ Court, as well as charges of being drunk and disorderly and failing to answer bail.
He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £177 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.
