Christmas stabbing horror: Two men hurt in Nuneaton street violence

Two men were stabbed over Christmas in Nuneaton.

Warwickshire Police are investigating the incidents which took place on Christmas Day and in the early hours of today.

The Telegraph understands that the first incident took place in Cedar Road.

A man, aged in his 20s, was slashed across the chest and needed hospital treatment.

The second incident took place in an unknown location at around 6am.

The 21-year-old man called for police help after being stabbed twice.

Nuneaton Police tweeted: “First call was to a male on Ansley Road who stated he’d been stabbed at another location.

“Injuries are non-life threatening to the male that was stabbed. Currently receiving treatment. Has two minor stab wounds.”

It is not yet understood if the two incidents were connected.
