Suspected ‘unexploded device’ only a piece of scrap metal as site reopened to the public
Posted: Thu Sep 15, 2016 2:28 pmA SUSPECTED ‘unexploded device’ found at a Coventry tip has been misidentified as a piece of scrap metal.
Police officers were called out to the tip on London Road at 8.20am following reports of an unexploded device.
However the ‘device’ was confirmed as a piece of scrap metal and the site has been reopened to the public.
