A46 reopened near Coventry after car ends up in ditch

The collision happened near to the Stoneleigh junction at around 9am



The A46 just outside Coventry was closed for around six hours after a crash saw a car end up in a ditch.

The busy bypass was shut off heading south between Stoneleigh and the A452 turning for Leamington following this morning’s collision at around 9am.

Emergency services were at the scene throughout the morning and in to this afternoon, while diversions are currently in place.

The Highways Agency stated that all lanes finally reopened at 3pm following recovery work.
