Flasher who exposed himself to young girls handed suspended sentence

Robert Phipkin, of Eastern Green, admited six counts of exposing himself over a 11-month period

A flasher who exposed himself to young girls on numerous occasions in Coventry has avoided a prison sentence.

Robert Phipkin admitted six counts of intentionally exposing himself in the city and was handed a 12-week sentence suspended for 18 months at Coventry Magistrates’ Court .

The 26-year-old, of Faulconbridge Avenue, Eastern Green , must undertake a sex offenders treatment programme and was handed a seven-year sexual offences prevention order which bans him from driving any motor vehicle without a registration number that has not been notified to West Midlands Police .

The offences took place in between March 2015 and January of this year.

Phipkin was also ordered to pay £185 court costs and a £80 victim surcharge.
