Woman dies from head injuries after being found at home in Coventry

Cause of death is still unknown and police are set to carry out more tests

A 50-year-old woman died after being found with head injuries at her home in Coventry.

The woman was discovered at a house in Starley Road, in the city centre near to the Skydome, on Friday and taken to hospital where she later died.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and further tests will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
