Schoolgirl hit by bus in Coventry during rush-hour traffic
The girl is currently being taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital after the collision in Canley
A girl has been hurt after being hit by a bus in Coventry.
The incident happened in Charter Avenue, near to the junction with Wolfe Road, Canley, at around 4.45pm.
The schoolgirl, believed to be 12, was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said that a nurse and an off-duty paramedic were tending to the girl before ambulance crews arrived.
It is the second collision involving a pedestrian in Charter Avenue today.
