Three Spires Dance School in Coventry recently hosted a 30th anniversary dance show, raising £1,500 for The Myton Hospices.

The show took place at Bedworth Civic Hall and featured more than 200 pupils from the ages of 3 to 18 who performed a variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, modern and jazz.

Elaine Ferry opened Three Spires Dance School in 1985 and hosts a dance show every two to three years, often donating the money raised by the show to a charity that benefits children.

This year, the school chose to donate to Myton as Elaine’s brother was cared for at Coventry Myton Hospice and the family wanted to give something back after the care he received.

Claire McDowell, community fundraiser at The Myton Hospices, said: “We are delighted that Three Spires Dance School chose to support us in their dance show.

“We know how much hard work goes into organising events so we really appreciate the fantastic £1,500 they have raised, which will help us to care for our patients and their loved ones.”

Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
