In any case it didn't help when I was last there. For the first twenty minutes no one moved, all were occupied by customers doing complicated foreign money transfers.
Also Lloyds has a funny definition of "nearby", I take it none of them has ever walked from the top of Far Gosford Street to the top of the High Street?
I remember when they shut Corporation Street, the first I knew was when I visited the branch to make a payment. There was a pile of letters on the counter, none of which had been mailed to customers. It read (I kid you not) "In order to bring you a better service we are closing your local branch"!
