A disused pub in Coventry is to be knocked down and replaced with houses.
The Convoy Pub in Penny Park Lane, Keresley, will be demolished and replaced with eight homes.
Coventry City Council planners have given O’Flanagan Homes permission to go ahead with the development.
The pub closed last year, went up for sale and was bought by developers.
It first opened to the public in 1956.
The pub was named to honour convoys of ships carrying troops and delivering vital supplies in the Second World War.
