Body of missing Exhall man found in field near his home

A body found in Exhall has been confirmed to be that of missing man Adrian Turner.



The 43-year-old had not been seen since leaving his home in Silk Weavers Way, to buy cigarettes on Boxing Day.

Adrian, a father-of-two, was reported missing later that day and his body was found in a field in Exhall yesterday morning by a police search team.

Next of kin have been informed and a post mortem examination will take place in the next few days.

Investigating officer Inspector Andy Reynolds said: “We would like to thank members of the media and public for their help in trying to find Mr Turner.

“His family has now asked for time to come to terms with their loss and we ask that their wishes are respected.”
