Defence Secretary Bob Ainsworth meets Coventry voters

The Defence Secretary Bob Ainsworth has been campaigning in Coventry to defend his constituency seat.

He has held the Coventry North East seat for Labour since he entered parliament in 1992 and has consistently gained more than 50% of the vote.

Standing against him are Russell Field, for the Liberal Democrats, and Dave Nellist, for the Socialist Party.

Also standing are Hazel Noonan for the Conservative Party and Tom Gower for the British National Party.
