A STUDENT has hit out after shop staff in Coventry refused to print her photographs of a pregnant friend.
Joanna Ornowska, aged 25, says she was told her pictures were too good – and could be the work of a professional.
The trouble is Britan's copyright laws are so all-encompassing that almost anyone can be sued for infringement even if they are totally innocent. A new bill being rushed through parliament will make things even worse as it was written by big business interests and almost all of the Lords' ammendments intended to protect individuals have been thrown out by the Commons without any debate on the subject.
